Adding a company to dCompany takes under a minute. If you are registered as CEO or chairperson in the Brønnøysund Register, dCompany fetches all company and shareholder data automatically — no manual entry needed.

Log in with BankID

Go to dcompany.no and log in with BankID. This is the fastest and most secure way to get started, and it lets dCompany verify your role in the companies you manage.

You can also log in with a password and one-time code if you prefer.

Your companies appear automatically

After logging in, you will see all companies where you are registered as CEO or chairperson in the Brønnøysund Register, as well as any companies where you have been granted access by another user.

Select the company you want to set up.

dCompany fetches the data

When you open a company for the first time, dCompany automatically retrieves:

• Company information and share capital from the Entity Register (Enhetsregisteret)
• Shareholder information from your latest shareholder register statement from the Tax Agency

You do not need to enter any of this manually.

Confirm and you are done

The final step is to review and confirm the information dCompany has retrieved — including the nominal value of shares. Once confirmed, the company is ready to use.

If you want a complete transaction history going back to incorporation, you can import historical transactions at any point after setup.

Adding a company where you are not CEO or chairperson

If you work for a company but are not its CEO or chair, you can still request access. Select Add company, search for the company by name or organisation number, and send an access request to the CEO or chairperson registered in the Brønnøysund Register. Once they approve, the company will appear in your portfolio.
