Board and CEO

The Board and CEO tab is where key information about each board member and the CEO is stored — roles, contact details, and national ID numbers. Names and roles are fetched automatically from the official registers, but email addresses and phone numbers must be added manually.

What gets imported automatically

When you add a company, dCompany retrieves the current board composition from the Brønnøysund Register. Each person's name and role — CEO, chairperson, member, deputy chairperson, deputy member, or observer — is pulled in automatically.

Review after onboarding

After the board is imported, check that the information is current. Official registers are updated periodically, so the data in dCompany may reflect a previous state. Verify that all roles are correct and that no one is missing.

Add email and phone number

Names and roles are pre-filled, but contact details are not available in public registers. You need to add them yourself:

  1. Go to Board and CEO in the top navigation.
  2. Click on a person's name to open their profile.
  3. Enter their email address and phone number.
  4. Click Save.

Repeat for each board member and the CEO.

Email addresses are particularly important — they are used when sending meeting notices, signing requests, and shareholder communications.

Add national ID numbers

Each person's national ID number (fødselsnummer) should also be stored in their profile. This allows board members to log in with BankID and access the board portal directly — without needing a separate dCompany account invitation.

Add a new board member

If someone has been added to the board but is not yet showing in dCompany, you can add them manually:

  • Add from portfolio — select a person already in your dCompany contact network and assign them a role.
  • Add new — enter their details from scratch and assign a role.

Available roles are: CEO, Chairperson, Member, Deputy chairperson, Deputy member, and Observer.

Keep the board list current

When board changes are registered — for example after a general meeting — update the Board and CEO tab to reflect the new composition. This ensures that notices and documents always go to the right people.
