Company setup

Articles of association

Articles of association are a mandatory part of company setup in dCompany. Once they are in place, dCompany keeps them up to date automatically — any decision that changes the articles, such as a share capital increase, updates them without any manual action on your part.

Add articles of association

When no articles have been added yet, the page shows two options:

  • Import from PDF — upload your existing articles as a PDF. An AI-driven importer reads the document and converts it into dCompany's structured paragraph format. Once imported, review the result and make any adjustments needed before saving.
  • Enter manually — type each paragraph directly into the editor. Use this if you don't have a PDF or prefer to enter the articles from scratch.

The paragraph editor

Whether you import or enter manually, the articles are stored as numbered paragraphs (§ 1, § 2, …). Each paragraph has a title and a body. You can:

  • Edit the title and body text of any paragraph
  • Add new paragraphs with + Add article
  • Reorder paragraphs using the up and down arrows
  • Delete a paragraph using the trash icon
  • Use Improve to get AI suggestions for the wording of a paragraph

Click Save when you are done editing.

Document language

The editor lets you set the Document language — Norwegian or English. dCompany supports dual-language articles and can auto-translate content between the two languages.

Version history

Every time the articles are updated, dCompany saves the previous version. Click View older versions on the articles page to see the full version history, including which Document Robot project triggered each change.

Automatic updates

Once articles of association are in dCompany, you never need to update them manually after a corporate change. When you run a Document Robot project — for example a share capital increase — the relevant paragraphs are updated automatically as part of the process.
