Company setup
Access permissions from chair or CEO
To add a company to dCompany, you need access granted by the company's chairperson or CEO — the people registered in the Brønnøysund Register Centre. Send an access request from the Add company screen and the chair or CEO can approve it directly from their email, without logging in.
Find the company and send a request
Select Add company and search for the company by name or organisation number. dCompany shows you the registered chairperson and CEO for that company, along with an email field pre-filled with their address.
Choose the type of access you need:
- Administration — full access to manage the company
- Shareholding — access to view your own holdings in the shareholder portal
- Board member — access to the board portal for meetings, minutes, and documents
Then click Send request. The chairperson or CEO will receive an email notification.
What the chair or CEO sees
The person you contact receives an email informing them that someone has requested access to the company on dCompany. The email includes your name and email address, the company name, and a link to review the request.
From the email, they can Accept or Decline the request directly — no login required to respond.
After the request is approved
Once the chairperson or CEO approves the request, the company appears in your dCompany portfolio with the access level you requested. You will receive a confirmation email when this happens.
If you need a different level of access later, a company administrator can adjust your role from within the platform.
